The most rewarding part of tour was getting to work with so many enthusiastic students! At Stetson University, Solstice enjoyed working with the J. Ohlsson West Woodwind Quintet in a masterclass setting, where they explored different chamber music techniques and helped prepare for their performance at Carnegie Hall. At the various k-12 schools, every member of Solstice worked with students individually and in group settings to focus on specifics of their instrument, as well as how to better play together as a chamber group, woodwind section, and ensemble as a whole.
